In an exciting development with the growth of female football across the Ballarat and surrounding regions, the McDonald’s Ballarat FNL is officially introducing an Under 12 girls competition for 2024.
Following a highly successful trial run term 3 2023 with AFL Goldfields, the BFLW will renew the competition. The league is experiencing tremendous growth in the lower age groups of female football and the addition of an Under 12 Girls competition’s to compliment the BFLW’s strong numbers will further strengthen and develop the growing BFLW competition.
Further details around the format, structure, fixtures will be released at a later date. The games will be played on four smaller ovals on the main grounds in a family friendly atmosphere.
From 2024, the Under 12’s will be looking to incorporate all BFLW clubs.
