2021 draw ranking: #6

WEST 'highway travel' record (2018 & 2019 home and away seasons):Played 9 Won 0 Lost 9 @0% win rate
PROS:Play 2019 Grand Finalists East Point and Sebastopol only ONCE
- Play THREE HOME GAMES in FOUR WEEKS before the bye, with Round 8 at home to Ballarat, Round 9 at home against East Point and Round 11 at home against North Ballarat before a BYE in Round 12
- Meet only THREE finalists from 2019 TWICE (Melton, Redan, Darley)
CONS:FIVE highway trips to Ballarat including THREE in FOUR weeks from Round 14 to Round 17 (versus Ballarat in Round 14, Redan in Round 15 and North Ballarat in Round 17)
- Play AWAY FOUR times in FIVE weeks from Round 13 to Round 17, including THREE highway trips, up against Bacchus Marsh in Round 13, Ballarat in Round 14, Redan in Round 15 and North Ballarat in Round 17
Comment:Despite five trips to Ballarat (equal competition high with Melton) locked in for 2021, the Panthers additions to the playing group should stand them in good stead to win their first (or more) highway game in three years. Well coached and the addition of boom recruits means oppo beware. Expect remarkable improvement from the Panthers in 2021. Ironically, their draw is better than 2019 and has a gap on the intended 2020 draw.
