Return to Play and Updated Fixture
Following the announcement today from state government, the McDonalds Ballarat FNL is pleased to announce a return to competition from this weekend.
The everchanging environment we operate under has seen a great deal of resilience from players, clubs, members and the wider community which allows the league to return to competition prepared and committed to seeing the 2021 season through.
Senior football and netball will recommence from this Saturday 31st July 2021 under strict COVID protocols.
A revised fixture has been completed for the final three rounds of competition that will ensure an equitable and balanced set of games that will ensure the 2021 season has all clubs playing six home and six away games, with two byes.

With crowds restricted at venues under the current stage of restrictions, entry will be strictly limited to players and officials from each competing club only. Further advice will be provided from both AFL Victoria and Netball Victoria in the near future.
Details of the return of junior football and netball, BFLW competitions and the Western Bulldogs Under 9’s are expected shortly.
The BFNL is excited to have competition football and netball back in the premier competition across the region.
