2023 Round One Fixture Announced
The McDonalds Ballarat FNL is excited to release round one of what will be a thrilling 2023 senior season.
Kicking off with Good Friday football and netball on 7th April, Redan will host Lake Wendouree at City Oval where interest will be the return of Gary Learmonth to coach in the BFNL, leading Redan to improve on last season while Jack Fitzpatrick returns to the Lakers for another stint in charge.
The season proper will commence on Saturday 15th April with some enticing games to preview the year ahead.
Ballarat will host Darley as the Devils have the first of seven away games due to the redevelopment at Darley Park. Cross town rival Bacchus Marsh will be looking for early success as they journey to Sebastopol while North Ballarat will travel to Clarke Oval and take on Sunbury.
The main game of the weekend will be the local derby between reigning premier Melton who will host Melton South.
The full 2023 senior fixture will be released on Friday where an exciting 2023 will come to life.
Live streaming of every senior football game will return in 2023 with the addition of the A Grade netball match of the round, there has never been more access to community football and netball than before.
